Integrate Water Balm Shadow #BR373 資生堂 インテグレート ウオーターバームシャドー

by - 4/29/2017 12:07:00 AM

I think I'm in love with Shiseido Integrate's cosme right now.
The main model is Komatsu Nana (小松菜奈). And the other two models are Mori Hikari (森星) and Indou Kaho (夏帆).
I think I love Komatsu Nana since "Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai" movie & 2 special eps.
Surprisingly, Kaho was also starred in the film.
And since then, I like Nana's mysterious brown eyes.
The Water Balm Shadow is Integrate's latest item from Feb 2017.
It is a water-based balm type eyeshadow, with 70% skincare components.

This eyeshadow is water-based, gives cool finish with a sheer shiny metallic eyes.
The color brightness and transparency will last.
Even during the day of wearing makeup, it will care for eyelid since it contains skincare.

This is Shiseido's first formulation containing jelly with a mosturizing ingredients, glossy, pearlescent agent,
coloring material added to the water base containing 70% of skincare ingredients.
By solidifying like a jelly, it holds plenty of moisture above the eyeshadow.
Not only care for eyelid as an eyeshadow, it also can be used as eyeshadow base too.
The researcher who developed this eyeshadow is Kubota Shun.

Color variations:

BR373 is Hikari's pick. Her picture is below

Hikari is the most right person. A mature lady and think she's a mixed race (like Nana?)? Middle is Nana and left is Kaho. This picture was taken to advertise the new eyeshadow, foundation, and nail color. Nana's eyeshadow color is beige, Kaho used blue, and Hikari used brown. Such a lovely ladies, aren't they?

Now for video, you can see this one, which used BR373 and BE272 from Kyato (Cat) TV:

And from PATRA magazine for the blue and beige version:

Then, from VOCE channel (You know the magazine VOCE right?):

Kuboki-san used BL275 and BE272.

BR373 for neat working makeup:

And more video from Integrate and Kuboki-san can be found on Youtube VOCE below the video.
There are many collaboration videos with Kuboki-san which is very good to study from professional.
I think he processed the makeup very fast by using most of his fingers.
He works with JY (Kang Ji Young) too. She's the ex-member from KARA, now working in Japan.

Well, I'm too far away from Water Balm Shadow.
I'm afraid I can't tell about this eyeshadow very well because it's something new for me.
It is a balm type eyeshadow.
With jelly-like texture, it is a solid water, not a cream.

The transparent plastic box shows the product well.
It has red-white casing color theme, mainly used by Integrate.

And the eyeshadow itself is shown in a round balm-like case.
I thought the texture would be like a gel eyeliner.
Maybe, it will break / crack if I touch it?
But no, this is something like a jelly.
Fluffy, cool effect temperature like a water, soft, and it will bounce back!

Only cracked a little bit although I kept using power (and nail?).

I'm not lying.
This is awesome for me.
I like to touch it since it is bouncy and  feel like touching cool water.
It doesn't crack, except if I use power.
With that, the only thing you can do to take it is only by using finger, and slide.
I don't know about brush, but I think it will get solidified quickly.
Still, the cooling effect is a bonus so might be useful by using finger.

The cool-jelly like texture will be hardened, creating something like a metal without smudging!

Swatch on hand:

It doesn't have scent.
After I slide the jelly balm eyeshadow, it will solidified to a metal like texture, with glitter.
It seems like a glitter sticks to a shimmery glue.
I love to touch it from the case because it has cooling effect and the temperature will stay on my lid for 5 seconds.
Since it will be a solid metal shadow, if you want to smudge it, do that quickly before 5 secs.
Or it can't be moved anymore.

Left : with eyeshadow, right : without. Putting the eyeshadow on upper lid to 1/3 lower eyelid.

It is sheer and perfect to be used as a eyeshadow base for one swatch.
Meanwhile, it will be darker like the picture after 3 swatches.
It doesn't get any darker than that so it's good for people who like sheer & glittery eyeshadow.
After it is hardened, it won't create fallout and sticks well to skin for a whole day.

MY THOUGHTS FOR INTEGRATE WATER BALM SHADOW #BR373:
+ A jelly like texture, soft and bouncy.
+ Slide easily on skin.
+ Doesn't emphasize dry skin around eyelid.
+ The texture will get hard and doesn't create fallout.
+ Stays long for whole day.
+ Doesn't have scent.
+ Gives cooling effect to skin, even on eyelid so it will awaken my eyes in the morning (cough).
+ Just need finger to apply. It is best only using finger. Just glide on the jelly surface to take.
+ Unique texture and it can be spread evenly as long as you do it quick.
+ It is not pigmented but BR373 is the same color as my lid and a very natural color.
+ Can be used as eyeshadow base. It will give shiny effect to matte shadow.
- Too many glitter for people who dislike it.
- The price is expensive for a single shadow. But I'm sure it will last long. Only need to slide a little bit to take the balm. Price around Rp 200k.
